This Course is an introduction to pisco. You will receive general information, including common terminology, pisco regions, grape varieties and more. It includes an introduction to the tasting method and will guide you through the evaluation process of pisco in Peru.

There are two types of practice/assess activities. At the end of most lessons, you will complete an activity to practice the material. The practice activities require a grade of 80% or more before moving on to the next lesson. At the end of each unit, you must pass a quiz before moving on to the next unit. You must receive a grade of 80% or more on every quiz. You have unlimited chances to pass the practice activities and quizzes.

You must receive a grade of 80% or more on every unit quiz and the final exam. If you don’t pass the first time, you can review your answers, study the material and try again. You have unlimited chances to take quizzes and the final.

To receive your certificate, you must complete every lesson and its corresponding activities, pass every unit quiz (a grade of 80% or more) and pass the final exam (with a grade of 80% or more). When you pass the final exam, you will receive a digital certificate sent to the email address you use to log in to the course.

We believe pisco is Peruvian and we work to protect the Denomination of Origin for pisco in Peru.
