in one hand without the Spaniards, Peruvians wouldn’t be know about wine, in the other hand that help them to elaborate brandy (aguardiente) therefore, there was a great fusion of cultures between locals and foreigners.

In Peru, the common brandy obtained from grapes is the Aguardiente de Pisco, so called because shipped at the port of Pisco. Chilean linguist Rodolfo Lenz said that the word pisco was used all along the Pacific coast of the Americas from Arauco to Guatemala, and that the word would be of Quechua origin meaning “bird”.In Peru, the common brandy obtained from grapes is the Aguardiente de Pisco, so called because shipped at the port of Pisco. really thanks to the invasion of the Spanish, they brought new innovations and culture to Peru, pisco (green, chocolaty and pure must) is the base engine of Peru, it is rumored that Chile also has Pisco but it is only Agua Ardiente, Pisco is located in his hometown, near Ica and is made from more diverse flavors that make up this incredible Brandy!
