As I live in Peru and the Pisco blood runs in my family, we do take pride on the pisco sour as every member knows how to do it, and to celebrate this day we basically fill up our kitchen and celebrate with our famous “previas”, before our big lunchs, and then after too 😉

Living in New York City, we have quite a few Peruvian restaurants, many of them small businesses; I’d support them by enjoying a meal as well as Pisco Sours!

Our bar features a “Daily 8”, a different classic cocktail for $8. I’d put the Pisco Sour on the Daily 8 that day, market it on social media, and run a food special of a sandwich inspired by the famous one at La Lucha in Lima.

As I live in US nowadays, I would like to drink The pisco sour every Christmas or Independence Day’s (July 28th) the perfect matching for these special holidays!
